Corruption In Nigeria - My Opinion

With the recent news of Japan's economic minister Akira Amari to resign "honourably" over corruption allegations, without contemplating on defending himself (at least for now or so) I begin to wonder when politicians in Nigeria will begin to think that way.
When will Nigeria politicians stop seeing politics as a do or die affair? For over eight months now it has been corruption fight all the way and non of them has thought it wise to resign but rather they are seeking for redress, defending their selves and all that. Infact I'm of the opinion that every political office should be made less attractive. Yes, let a civil servant earn more than a politician and then let's see if they will still clamour to be their.
